DISGRUNTLED KING Now standing aboard his new empire of a ship, the super carrier Sovereign Benediction, he monitored all of the ships incoming data and status reports. Here afloat the bridge hovered his own newly designed throne from which he could command if he so choose to sit. The bridge itself was a massive room, large blue view screens decorated the walls with a central platform raised by a series of steps. Centered upon the platform sat a rectangular table allowing full holograms of anything he wished to view. The room was dark; safe for the few screens that were currently on line illuminating the chamber of a bridge. His golden armor reflected the lights and glittered against the purple cape laying heavily down his backside. At that moment Kolo was surveying the labyrinths of his ship. Blue holograms hovered, focusing into view. As he moved his hand they turned round over the table, showing different portions of the ship. As a whole, it was st
FIRST STRIKEEverything was there just as they had left it. The beach front was a rewarding sight to come back to. They had just reached the sunken coffin, now deep in sand, when the radio came through.

The dim light he had seen as he charged through the tunnel after the monster could now be identified: torches. Rows of mysteriously lit torches lined the walls of the huge cave. At its center was a substantially large labyrinth of mirrors.
He spotted the beast entering.
He spun his silver broadsword in his hand and hurried in behind it.
His garb was a simple blue and white crusader's leather with thick armored pads and reinforcing steel studs. Lightweight and flexible, but quite effective defense against blunt blows and – in a pinch – the slashing claws of the unholy spawn of the earth. All monster-hunters wore a similar variety in Val's experience. It would serve him well in these close quarters of the mirrored maze.
Right, left, forward, left, right he turned, always catching a glimpse of the beast's tail as he wove his way through the corridors. Every so often he sp
